What results can I expect from DiolazeXL®?
While many patients see significant improvement after the first few sessions, the full benefits are typically seen after completing the recommended treatment course. Usually, these treatments are spaced out over several weeks. The exact number of sessions needed depends on factors like the treatment area, hair type, and individual response.
For most patients, DiolazeXL provides a substantial and long-lasting reduction in hair growth.
What is it like to get a DiolazeXL® treatment?
During the DiolazeXL treatment, you will be asked to wear special eyewear to protect your eyes from the IPL and a special gel will be applied to the skin before a diode laser beam passes through the skin towards hair follicles. To reduce discomfort, numbing agents may be applied to the treatment area. However, since DiolazeXL includes a built-in cooling system, you’ll experience minimal discomfort during the treatment. The treatment typically takes 30 -60 minutes, depending on the size of the area. Some patients may experience redness, swelling, irritation and crusting at the treatment site, which typically resolves within a few days.
