What is Belotero Balance®?
Belotero Balance is a dermal filler created to temporarily soften lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth. It is created with hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar found in the body that gives skin volume, elasticity and moisture to achieve a more youthful appearance. Belotero Balance is unique because it is comprised of a distinctively smooth hyaluronic acid gel that is formulated through a proprietary process to effectively bind to the skin’s own water. This process facilitates maximum integration of the soft and cohesive gel into the skin, better enabling the hyaluronic acid to blend into the skin’s natural structure, where it gently fills in moderate-to-severe lines and wrinkles to produce a subtle, yet noticeable rejuvenation.

What results can I expect from Belotero Balance®?
Results from Belotero Balance treatments are often noticed immediately. While the full results typically become more pronounced within a couple of days to a few weeks as any initial swelling subsides. This means that you can enjoy the rejuvenating effects of Belotero Balance shortly after your treatment.
Belotero Balance typically lasts for up to 12 months, depending on individual responses. Patients are able to maintain their desired results by undergoing periodic treatments.
What is it like to get a Belotero Balance® treatment?
Prior to your Belotero Balance treatment, the area to be treated will be cleaned with an antiseptic skin cleaner before an ultra-fine needle is used to inject a precise amount of product strategically beneath the skin. To reduce discomfort, a topical numbing agent may be applied to the treatment area. The treatment typically takes about 30 to 45 minutes depending on the area being treated. Some patients may experience swelling, tenderness or bruising at the injection sites, but these effects are temporary and typically subside within a few days to a week.
