During your chemical peel treatment, your skin care professional will thoroughly clean the treatment area, and a chemical solution will be applied. Depending on the depth of the peel, some patients may experience a slight burning or tingling sensation. Depending on the type of peel, it may be neutralized and removed or will self-neutralize once the application is complete. Special post-procedure creams and sunscreen will be applied to the treated area. It is normal for the treated area to feel and look like a mild sunburn, which will typically subside in about 48 hours. Mineral-based makeup may be applied to the area to conceal any redness.

What are the Results?
Following a customized facial, your skin will feel hydrated and soft, and have a healthy glow to it. Depending on the products used during your treatment, you may be advised to stay out of the sun for the remainder of the day, or wear sunscreen to protect your skin. There is no downtime required following a customized facial, so you can feel free to return to your everyday activities. Customized facials may be repeated as often as once every two to four weeks to maintain healthy, glowing skin.
